Back to the Lower 48
Hey all, we had a great trip and after a grueling red eye flight last Saturday/Sunday, we made it home with over 200 pounds of fish that filled up the freezer chest. Here are some more pics from the trip...
Momma moose and her baby came bye the house to check us out...
On Saturday we went sight seeing and came across a wacky little garden festival going on and they had giant spiders and wierd little fairies...
On our flight out we could see this large lake being fed by a HUGE glacier that looked like it wend on for miles and miles. It was very cool.
Homer, Alaska...a quaint little village.
Why yes...that is an occupied house made out of a boat ...now that's white trash taken to a whole new level!
:-)
Andy and I had smiles as big as Texas after catching these two king salmon! Talk about fun, sorry again Austin. :-(
I have to confess, that Andy did catch a bigger fish than I did, but he also caught the smallest fish on the trip as well.
Mine weighed in at 35 pounds and Andy's weighed in at 52 pounds.
The mountains out there are b...u...t...full!!! They are all real green, I'm pretty sure the all had glaciers on them and some had several valleys that looked full of snow and ice.

Cool pictures Ross! I'm glad that you guys had such a fun time. How long does fish keep well in the freezer?
